Unemployee of the Month – Cameron T. Moore

By in 90'S ERA, BABY MAKIN', HIP HOP, MELLOW, R&B, SOUL, UNEMPLOYEE OF THE MO

Check him out on the Table of Truth & on Mookie Creative.

What name do you go by/perform under/etc?
I go by “Cam” or my full name “Cameron T. Moore” now. It used to be “Mookie” which was my dancer and DJ name but I have out grown it. That, and I use it for my design company now, Mookie Creative.

Where do you live? Why?
BROOKLYN!

Why do you make a good unemployee?
Actually, being unemployed has made me busier than having a 9-5. I have creative a.d.d. so I am always doing multiple projects at once in different areas of art: deejaying, designing, dancing, and of lately filming and editing. So, I am probably more productive as an “unemployee” than a employee.

Pre-order My M.O.’s new album, Bonfire

By in ECLECTIC, ELECTRONIC, HIP HOP, INDIE ROCK, R&B

The 50 min plus, 12 track album features production by RVRS:PLAY and a sweet remix by Doctrations from Rotterdam. The sound is seriously wicked, MTV Iggy calls it “international future pop”. From the band’s perspective, the songs are heart-felt, emotional and yes, pop-oriented, but they are happy to borrow from dub, reggae, rock, soul, electronic, [...]
